Butterfinger Minis
Confession: I’ve never tried Butterfingers before I was sent this bag of Butterfinger Minis. I used to get them in my Halloween bags when I was a kid, but I always gave them away because I wasn’t interested. I was more of a Kit Kat, Crunch, Twix kind of girl. But, I remember all the commercials featuring Bart Simpson. Do you remember those? Seeing as how I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, these mini sized ones are perfect for me. These chocolate peanut butter mini bars are really tasty and the perfect size for me! *This product was sent to my complimentary, but all opinions are my own. This…

Welch’s Easter Fruit Snacks
If you’ve been following me on here since last spring then you might remember they were kind enough to send me their Easter themed fruit snacks. This year they sent them to me again, but included some individual packs inside a plastic Easter egg! Such a cute idea for an Easter basket! Love that they come in small individual packs. Perfect for snacking and taking with you wherever you go. You know, if we could go places! I love these fruit snacks. They’re so yummy. No wonder they’re the #1 fruit snack brand! *These products were sent to me complimentary, but all opinions are my own.*

National Strawberry Month
Did you know May is National Strawberry Month? I didn’t until I was sent some great summer snacks with a heavy focus on Strawberries! If you remember, last month I was sent a yummy package from Welch’s filled with boxes of fruit snacks! This time I was sent a more diverse assortment of snacks but equally as delicious from Welch’s and My/Mo. Since it is National Strawberry Month I was sent Strawberry Fruit Snacks and My/Mo Strawberry Mochi! Non-strawberry related I was also sent a box of mixed fruit snacks and Fruit ‘n Yogurt in blueberry. I love the strawberry flavored fruit snacks. So good! And I love mochi in…

Apple Nachos
Happy Wednesday! We’re almost halfway through the week and I’m so happy. This week has felt really weird for me. Not bad, just off. Last week, despite how crazy busy and tired I was – things felt good and right (if that makes sense). This week is slower paced and not as stressful and busy but I don’t feel quite right. It’s hard to explain, but hopefully you guys understand what I’m trying to say! I have a quick food post for you today. I wanted to make some kind of fall snack over the weekend so I made apple nachos. I saw some apple nachos on Pinterest that used…

Smoked Salmon Spread
A student of mine was recently talking about how much she loved visiting Alaska on a vacation she went on last year and it reminded me of the trip I took to the beautiful state 2 years ago. Since I was reminiscing, I remembered I never shared a really easy and delicious snack courtesy of my trip to Alaska! If you followed my blog back 2 years ago, then you might remember I want on a land & cruise trip around Alaska. On one of the first days there, I went on a Riverboat trip. While on the boat, they had a few snacks made out of Captain Jim’s Smoked…

Dried Fruit & Cheese Board
This cheeseboard snack is the easiest thing to put together that still looks like you put some thought in to it. All I did was cut some brie, grab some sliced almonds, dried apricots, and craisins. Seriously so easy! The creaminess of the brie with the sweet and tart flavors of the dried apricots and craisins work together so well. And then there’s the crunch of the sliced almonds for an extra bonus. So good! This is so easy, but I figured it might be an idea you may not have thought of so I wanted to share!

Valentine’s Muddy Buddies
Muddy Buddies or Puppy Chow or whatever you want to call it is something you may have made yourself before and/or most probably have eaten at some point. The not-too-sweet treat is addictive and easy to make. I hadn’t had it in years and was thinking of a simple snack I could make for Valentine’s Day. Making Muddy Buddies and adding in some valentine’s M&M’s seemed like the easiest idea! I used the recipe on the back of the Chex cereal box, but all you need are Chex, confectioner’s sugar, butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. What I did differently is I halved the recipe because the full recipe makes…
