Emmy Fashion: My Picks

I’ve loved award shows for as long as I can remember. Aside from my enjoyment of watching the actual award show (I mostly loved the openings because they’re usually funny and sometimes have some sort of funny musical number) I loved the red carpet pre-show as well. Even as a little girl I loved watching the red carpet to see what everyone was wearing and I loved how glamorous everyone looked. So it comes as no surprise that I was looking forward to this year’s Emmy Awards. Below are my picks for best dressed!

Julia Roberts in Elie Saab – I think a short dress is so fresh looking and unique for an elegant awards show and it was done tastefully. (Photo: People.com)

Michelle Dockery in Rosie Assoulin – There’s just something I love about this dress. Love the blue and green and I think the white makes it really crisp. (Photo: Eonline.com)

Sarah Hyland in Christian Soriano – This look is so fresh and young, especially with the crop top. I love that she chose to dress more age-appropriate and not in something that was too old for her, but also kept this young look sophisticated. (Photo: People.com)
