Drugstore Beauty Haul

So technically this isn’t from the drugstore per se, it’s from Bed, Bath & Beyond but I consider it drugstore since the beauty section of the store is all drugstore products. I was in the shopping center where my local Bed, Bath & Beyond is to go to Michaels for an upcoming craft project/attempt which I will happily post if it doesn’t turn into a disaster! While I was in the area, I knew I had to restock on some essentials like some new toothbrushes, face wash, etc. I had 2 options, Target or Bed, Bath & Beyond and seeing as how I absolutely love to use the coupons from B,B &B to get 20% off items and $5 off every $15 I knew that was where I had to go.

Naturally, while I was there I had to browse down the beauty aisles. I picked up a few items that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time.

  • Physicians Formula Matte Collection Quad Eyeshadow I got the “Classic Nudes” quad. I really wanted to try “Canyon Classics” as that’s the quad that I hear about all the time, but this was the only one they had and you can never have enough nude shadows. I primarily got this because I really wanted to try out the Physicians Formula…formula (is that redundant?)
  • Almay Smart Shade Blush – I got the shade “Pink”. I’m really intrigued by the whole concept of Smart Shade. It supposedly will automatically adjust to the perfect shade for your skin. I’m interested in the whole Smart Shade line, such as their foundations which I hear mixed reviews about. Before I venture into the foundations, I thought I’d give this blush a try.
  • Almay Shadow Softies by Intense i-Color – I got 2 shades of these cute tear drop shaped eyeshadow singles: Creme Brulee and Lilac. These are two shades that I know I would get good use out of and I think these two colors will work great together as well. This is another item that I hear mixed things about so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
  • EOS Hand Lotion – I adore the EOS Lip Balms, so I have high hopes for these little hand lotions. I know hand lotion and lip balm don’t exactly go hand in hand so I shouldn’t compare the two, but I still have high hopes! Hand lotion is always needed during the winter months so this one in the scent “Fresh Flowers” is going to be living in my bag. Unless I hate it…..but I don’t think I will.

There’s my little haul of all new things (to me) that I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time. I’ll be sure to come back and give you all an update on how I’m liking these products!
