Oscars 2015 Fashion Picks

Last night was the 87th Academy Awards and as always the ladies put their best fashion foot forward. Here are my picks for best dressed!

Chloe Grace Moretz looks divine in this strapless, floral Miu Miu gown. It’s definitely a fresh look and incredibly age appropriate for her. She is young and I don’t like when young girls are dressed too “old” for these kinds of events. I think the color scheme and the champagne trim on her gown looks perfect for her coloring. Plus, her gown has pockets – that just makes it even better!

How amazing does Zoe Saldana look after giving birth to twins 3 months ago?! I love her gown and the wrap look at the waist and hips. It’s beautifully cut and structured.

Anna Faris looks so pretty in this sparkly silver gown and I love the silver belt because it really accentuates her waist.

Jennifer Lopez wore the ball gown of all ball gowns. I love that the beading/sequins weren’t throughout the entire gown but just in portions which I think kept it from being too over the top. I feel the plunging neckline, while revealing, was still done in a tasteful way. Overall, I do love this gown!

Jessica Chastain dazzles in this sapphire blue gown. I absolutely love this color on her. The gown fits her perfectly and I love the peek-a-boo sequin section on top.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum looks so classy and sleek in this white, plunging neckline gown. I love the details at the waist and the details down the trim.

Besides Jessica Chastain’s gown, I ended up loving the gowns that were more of a neutral color palette especially those blush and champagne tones.
