Rediscovered: L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow

Monday again and I’m hoping this week goes by a little quicker than last, though I have a lot of work to get done in the next two weeks. In 2 weeks it’ll be spring break and I’ll be away in sunnier climes, but until then there’s lots to get done! I’m trying to keep my anxiety at bay. In the meantime, while I was tidying up some beauty bits yesterday, I came across my L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in “Amber Rush”, which I haven’t used in quite a while. I decided I needed to put it to use and was quickly reminded how much these shadows rock!

The formula is so easy to work with and it blends so easily onto the lids. I’m so happy to report that even though I haven’t used this in probably months, the shadow still blends like new and is not the least bit dried out. “Amber Rush” is a beautiful light bronze/copper color and can be packed onto the lids for a bold look or used lightly like how I wore it yesterday.

Since it was just a super casual Sunday for me, I just wore it as a wash of color. I first packed on a bit into the middle of my lids, which was pretty pigmented, but instead of packing more on, I just diffused it over my entire lid to give a sheerer look. (Btw, it’s hard to tell in this picture, but I cut and colored my hair last week! I cut it back to shoulder length and redid my purplish/reddish highlights)

I’m happy I rediscovered this little gem and it reminds me that I need to explore more from this range because I really do love the formula of these Infallible shadows. I think I own one other shade, but I can’t for the life of me remember which shade and I haven’t gone looking. But anyway, I definitely need to look into picking up some more on my next drugstore visit.
