I haven’t dyed Easter eggs in years, but I felt like doing it this year so that’s just what I did this past weekend. I’m not very artistic, though I wish I was, so I didn’t make pretty eggs with really cool and/or intricate designs (maybe one day!). All I did was dye them. I used this shrink wrap type thing on one of the eggs. I had 2 more to use, but they wouldn’t fit around the eggs! The one that did work, slipped onto the egg and then I used a blow dryer and the wrapping melted/stuck onto the egg shell. The little dye kit I got also came with an assortment of stickers which I used to decorate just one of the eggs. I loved the colors of the eggs so much that I didn’t want to cover them all up with stickers! Without further ado, here are my pictures.
I love pastels so it’s no wonder that I’ve always loved Easter colors. These shells are almost too pretty to crack!
Yours came out so nice! Where did you get the dye from? I was trying to paint some last night, but I think I have the wrong product, haha.
Thanks! I think the brand of the kit was Paas. I just got it from the supermarket haha. I’ve seen really cool ones that people hand paint, but I think if I tried that it’d turn out so sloppy! Let me know how yours turn out!
Oooh these are SO pretty – love them 🙂 X
Thanks, Karen! I love how the colors turned out. When you buy those dye tablets you never know how they’ll turn out!
Very true – thankfully they look eggcellent haha 😀 X
Haha you’re so sweet! Will you be celebrating Easter with your family this weekend?
I sure will!!! Looking forward to a few days off as well 🙂 Relaxing is on the menu hehe x
Sounds wonderful! Have a very relaxing weekend with the family!
Cute! No egg dying here, but finished stuffing bags with goodies for some kids. I love all the Easter colors! Have a good one!
Easter colors are always so cute and fresh! Have a good weekend!
