New Passport FOTD

It’s about that time for me to renew my passport and while I still have a couple months to go I decided to get it done now. Waiting until the last minute for (certain) things gives me anxiety so I’d rather get it done way in advance and not have to worry about it. So last weekend, I went to get my picture taken to mail in. A passport picture, like a new driver’s license, is going to have to last you a while so you want to look good. Obviously, you still want to look like yourself, but like the best natural version of yourself! I thought it might be interesting to share what makeup products I used for this passport picture fotd.

Face: Smashbox More than Primer Blemish Control, Covergirl + Olay Tone Rehab Foundation, IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye, Smashbox High Definition Concealer, bareMinerals Well Rested, Neutrogena Mineral Powder, bareMinerals Mineral Veil, L’oreal Magic Lumi Primer (highlight), Milani Baked Bronzer, bareMinerals, MAC Mineralize Blush (Gentle), MAC Fix+
Eyes: Lorac Behind the Scenes Primer, Maybelline The Nudes, Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara, Wet n Wild Brow Kit (not pictured)
Lips: Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm (Heaping Hazelnut)

I wanted to go with very neutral, natural makeup but a look that still gave good coverage. I wanted to look pretty for my picture that would be gracing my new passport for ten years or whatever the length of time is, but still looked very natural because I highly doubt I’ll be traveling looking super glam.

So how did my passport picture turn out? Eh, it’s okay. I think it was taken at a weird angle and the lighting was weird. Let’s just say, I wish that these pictures I took myself to show my fotd were on there instead! The passport picture isn’t horrible or anything, but definitely could’ve been better. Luckily, I don’t have to look at it often!
