New Year’s Eve Style
New Year’s Eve is coming up and if you’ve got a big night out planned you might be thinking about what to wear right about now. If you’re going out to an event or club, there’s usually a pretty dressy dress code and besides that you might just want to get all glammed up for the occasion. It can be really fun to get all dressed up and New Year’s Eve is always a good excuse to get all glitzy and sparkly.
Recently, I put together two party looks on my Polyvore that I wanted to share with you all to give you some NYE style ideas.
First up, I love this sequined wrap dress. Wrap dresses are flattering on every body type so you really cannot go wrong. I adore the shade of this dress. It’s not your normal silver or gold dress for NYE but instead a pretty blush tone. For all of us in places with cold weather, a coat is essential, but we all know it’s a pain to carry around a coat when you’re out and about for the big night. At least with a jeweled coat, you can look stylish! I finished up the look with accessories such as a solitaire pendant, a burgundy clutch, and the extremely popular Valentino studded pumps which many brands have copied for a much lower price tag.

The second look I have for you today is something very different from the norm. I love love love this baby pink jumpsuit with an overlay. It is so fun and different! I also love that it’s strapless and the sweetheart neckline (which I used to hate, but have grown to love in recent years). The pleated bodice and print on the pants helps elevate the visual level of the outfit. The statement necklace and bracelet, along with the caged heels make the outfit even more glamorous. I, again, paired this outfit with a burgundy bag. What can I say, burgundy just matches a lot of holiday-wear! Lastly, I thought this outfit would look great with a cropped faux fur jacket. Faux fur pieces are very popular right now and this will definitely help keep you warm on that cold night out while keeping you looking super stylish.

Which look would I choose if I had to? While I love both looks — and I should since I put them together — I would go with the first look (the sequined wrap dress) because I think that’s what I could pull off better. While you know I love my jumpsuits as I continued to profess yesterday , I think this one would look much better on someone taller. The overlay is my favorite part, but because of it I think it would look more elegant on a taller person.

I’d love to hear what some of your NYE style ideas are!
