For my long-time readers, you’ll know that one thing I have talked about multiple times when it comes to skincare and beauty is eye creams. So when I got the opportunity to work with derma e® and try their Firming DMAE Eye Lift Crème I jumped at the chance.

First, let’s talk about how this whole opportunity came about. To me, the start of a new year means new beginnings and trying out new things. derma e® was nice enough to send me some samples of their products and a full size tube of their Firming DMAE Eye Lift Crème and I immediately got to trying it out.

I love the packaging of this eye cream. It is slim and compact so it would be very convenient to take along with you while traveling. Nothing’s worse than bulky packaging that is so impractical for bringing along with you! I also love that there is a tip to the squeeze tube, making it even more hygienic.

Now, onto the product itself. It is a thin, white cream and not oily or greasy in the slightest. It is smooth to apply and blends extremely easily. It also absorbs into the skin immediately, which I find perfect for in the mornings when I’m going to be applying makeup shortly after my face creams. There’s no worry of my concealer or powders not applying well under the eye because of a greasy product or because the cream hasn’t sunk in yet. No slipping and sliding of makeup here!

So does it work? I’ve only been using it for about 10 days and while I haven’t seen my eye area becoming super firm, it could be because my only real issue with my under-eye area is some fine lines and dark circles. But, I am in my late 20s and my goal is to prevent developing issues i.e. losing elasticity in the eye area in the future. What I have noticed though is that my under-eye area is a lot less dry than it has been in recent weeks, so this is a total win for me!
