Grammy Red Carpet Picks 2016
Last night was the buzzed about Grammy Awards and of course I had to share my favorite looks from the red carpet. Before I begin, there’s something/a question I have on my mind. At the Grammy’s, I’ve noticed that a lot of stars change outfits and I’m not talking about changing for their performance and then back again into their red carpet outfit – I’m talking about wearing a completely different outfit once they’ve entered. Taylor Swift changed but she was the opening performance so I can understand that, but I also noticed that Selena Gomez changed within minutes of getting off the red carpet and I don’t understand why, especially since she wore one of my favorite looks of the night! Who’s carrying their other outfit(s)?! I mean, I imagine they have their people with them carrying these things for them or they have their other outfits inside already, but still. Also, where do they change? Can you imagine Selena Gomez getting changed in a bathroom stall? Okay, sorry for rambling, but these are things I legitimately think about 🙂
Onto my favorite red carpet looks from the night!
First up, Ashley Park wore this beautiful peach/coral gown. I didn’t see a picture of the back of the gown, but it looks to be a backless halter gown. I love the cut and the color and floral appliques make the gown look so romantic and whimsical.

Selena Gomez wowed in this midnight blue/purple sequined Calvin Klein gown with triangle side cutouts. I love the color, sequins, and criss-cross strappy back. The look could’ve easily gown from fantastic to tacky with all the sequins, but Selena managed to pull it off. I’m just sad she didn’t keep the look for the whole night!

Adele looked stunning in this black Givenchy gown. Adele is such a super star (did you see her performance?! There were some sound issues on the broadcast on TV, but she still killed it.) and she has been looking better than ever lately and you can tell how comfortable she’s feeling with this figure hugging gown. I love this black gown with the pleated skirt and all the sparkle. Sparkle away, Adele, sparkle away!

You know I love a good jumpsuit and Kaley Cuoco didn’t disappoint in this Naeem Khan number. The beachy waves paired with her white sequined jumpsuit with center triangle cutout has me wishing for summer weather.

Ellie Goulding throws it back to the 90s with this slip dress inspired blush Stella McCartney gown. I’m not a fan of all throwback fashions, but I can get behind the slip dress.

Chrissy Teigen looks phenomenal and super appropriate in this Yousef Al-Jasmi gown. We’ve seen pregnant stars dress inappropriately in too little material and we’ve seen them dress in outfits that were too frumpy and did nothing for their figure. Chrissy does it right in this gorgeous white figure hugging gown with attached beaded cape. Flawless!

My last pick of the night is Tori Kelly (also loved her performance with James Bay) in this green asymmetrical gown by Gauri & Nainika. I love the color, neckline, and train. I also find the matte effect of the fabric really interesting and different from all the sheer, beaded, and sequin materials we saw so much of on the red carpet.

That wraps up my favorite looks from the red carpet! Were there any looks you especially liked or disliked? Also, I’d love to hear your thoughts on my rant about gown changes!
