MAC Ellie Goulding FOTD

Happy Wednesday! I’m back with another FOTD post since I enjoyed putting together my last one so much. This time around, I’m using mostly products from MAC’s limited edition collection with Ellie Goulding. As soon as I saw the promo pictures released from this collection, I knew I had to get a few pieces. The shades and products were right up my alley. I ultimately decided on 3 items which were a blush/bronzer duo, one of the palettes, and a patentpolish lip pencil, which I swatched here.

I used the MAC blush in “I’ll Hold My Breath”, the palette in “Halcyon Nights”, and the patentpolish lip pencil in “Revved”. I love blush/bronzer duos and I love the shades of both this bronzer and blush, though I wish the blush portion was a bit bigger! I chose”Halcyon Nights” over the “Days” counterpart, simply because the “Nights” one featured less cream products and while cream products are growing on me I still prefer powder to cream. The eye quad slides out to reveal a medium-toned champagne cream highlighter. Lastly, “Revved” is a nice peach color.

Other products I used were Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer, bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation, Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder, NYX HD Eyeshadow Base, Lorac Cobra Mascara, and IT Cosmetics Brow Power Perfector.

Ellie Goulding’s MAC products give a glowy look, which I’m totally in to especially since the winter dryness has been real.
