Photo Challenge: Tiny
Happy Friday! Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than a week away? I’m excited for the holidays, but I also can’t handle how fast the year is going. This week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post was “Tiny“. I was completely inspired by the photo that was shown as an example for the challenge, which was a photo of a three-dimensional map of the city-center of Altstadt, Germany. A few months ago one of my local malls hosted the Lego Americana Roadshow. Spread out throughout the mall were detailed lego models of iconic American landmarks such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the White House and so on. The models were really cool and so detailed!
One of the models was the Lincoln Memorial complete with a tiny Abraham Lincoln and some real pennies thrown in there for effect.
These tiny (in comparison to the real buildings/structures) models were really neat to see in person. If you didn’t catch my original post check it out by clicking the link above – I also posted a YouTube video which you can find (here) – if you want to see more pictures!
