Clarins Lip Comfort Oil - Mint

Clarins Lip Comfort Oil

I was lucky enough to receive this Clarins Lip Comfort Oil from Influenster last week and I’ve been enjoying using it ever since. Clarins describes it as lip oils that are “infused with 100% pure plant oils nourish, soothe and plump lips — leaving a protective veil of color. Apply before lipstick for a smooth application, wear alone for soft hydrated lips, or top off any lip color for added shine.”

I had no idea what shade I would be sent and I was a little apprehensive when I got the mint one. A beautiful blue shade, but what I didn’t know at the time is that the mint lip oil is not tinted and applies clear. A huge relief to me, because I didn’t want blue lips despite how on trend some crazy colors are these days!

I’m really loving this lip oil! I love a good shine lip product and much prefer it to a matte look. As I said earlier in this post, I was so happy to find that this is a clear product on the lips and not in fact, blue. It is so comfortable on the lips and feels so moisturizing. Even an hour after applying, my lips still feel like I just applied the lip oil!

The mint shade is supposed to have a cooling effect, and I find that that’s true, but on a delay. I don’t feel the tingling upon application but at least 5-10 minutes later. The tingling is not too strong either, which I like. I don’t like when your lips feel like they’re burning!

Overall, I’m really loving this lip comfort oil and I would definitely purchase this on my own and I’d like to try some of the other shades as well because each one does something different.
