Emmy Red Carpet 2017
Did you watch last night’s Emmy Awards? I thought Stephen Colbert was really funny and did a great job! With the awards show I’m back with the looks I loved from the red carpet. As always, these are just my favorites looks based on what I saw so there may have been other amazing looks that I didn’t come across.
I picked 12 looks that I really loved so let’s get started in no particular order.
Kiernan Shipka looked gorgeous in this ethereal gown with rhinestone detailing. It was the perfect style for her figure and age appropriate for her.

I loved Julianne Hough’s Marchesa gown with the asymmetrical straps and cutout and 3D tulle flowers.

Lilliana Vasquez sparkled in this sleek silver number. It fit her perfectly and I loved the classic glamorous look of it!

Anika Noni Rose looked stunning in this champagne number. I love the sequin detailing on the bodice with the plunging neckline. I also really like the subtle detailing in the skirt.

I love the deep plum color of Lea Michele’s Elie Saab gown. It had a beautiful neckline and the sequin detailing really elevated the look.

The detailing in Ellie Kemper’s Jenny Packam gown is so fun. The sequins are so pretty and I love the sheer neckline and skirt.

Jessica Biel’s Ralph and Russo Couture gown was a mix of classic and modern. The sequin, surplice gown with high slit is a classic slinky look, but I love that a pale pink sheer material is also incorporated for something different.

I don’t always love Shailene Woodley’s style but I do love this emerald green Ralph Lauren gown she wore last night. The green is gorgeous and the plunging neckline, pleated skirt, and velvet material are so on trend right now. (Click here for more Ralph Lauren info!)

Pants are becoming more and more popular for women to wear to awards shows and I’m loving this Oscar de la Renta outfit Claire Foy wore last night. So sleek yet feminine at the same time with the glittering 3D bow and long sweeping material over her shoulder. The glittering bow reminds me of the bow Cartier puts on their building on 5th Ave. in New York City at Christmas time.

Emmy Rossum looked so classic in this glittering Zac Posen black ball gown. Her emerald earrings and cocktail ring really popped against the black gown.

Red looks great on Nicole Kidman’s fair skin. I like this midi-ish length a-line dress on that statuesque actress. The sparkling straps on this Calvin Klein by Appointment gown doubled as jewelry and was the perfect accent to the gown.

I didn’t see a better photo of this gorgeous magenta gown Anna Faris wore but when I saw it on her when she presented at the show I thought it was so pretty on her. The floral detailing on it is so pretty. She looked amazing!

Those were my favorite looks of the night. I’m not sure I could pick a top favorite, but maybe Julianne Hough?!
What were some looks you loved?
