Sugar Plum & Glittery Stripes

Why do weekends always go by so fast? This weekend went by especially quick for me because I had to go into work on Saturday so I didn’t have a proper weekend unfortunately, but hopefully this week will go by pretty quickly.

To start off this week I’m sharing an outfit with you that transitions pretty seamlessly from work to outside work. It looks casual enough to wear anywhere, but is still put together enough for work – if you work in a place that isn’t too formal that is. It’s a sugar plum colored top with glittery silver pinstripes. I paired the sweet top with colored stretch cords that in some lights look dark purple and some lights looks like a burgundy/berry color. I think it’s one of those items that can transform color depending on what it’s paired with.

I love the light sugar plum color of this top and the sweet glittery pinstripes. This top is so lightweight but still warm because it is made of merino wool. However, it is so thin which I think helps to cut down on the odds that it will be itchy. This look really is very versatile and can be worn to a host of places from work to a casual dinner out.
