Swing Sweater + 3D Flowers

When I saw this sweater at Kohl’s I had to have it because it gave me such nostalgia. Not that it’s a swing sweater or had bell sleeves, but because of the 3D flower detailing. The reflective, soft plastic flowers remind me of clip-on earrings my mom used to have in her jewelry box when I was little. I had my ears pierced at the age of 5, but these dangling pink paste earrings looked so pretty and fancy to me that I always took them from my mom’s jewelry box to play dress up with.

The shiny, soft, plastic also reminds me of old Christmas ornaments from the 70s or 80s. Anyone else have those in their family? Anyway, I love this swing sweater because it’s so loose and comfortable. The bell sleeves are a nice detail, but honestly a little annoying because they’re so big so they got in the way a little bit when I went out to dinner. Not too big of a deal – I just had to make sure to push them up before reaching over food or anything that I might get them dirty on.

You’re seeing my UGG Quincy Boots once again and still loving them! I thought they were the perfect casual shoe pairing to this pink sweater/red pants outfit. You’ll be seeing them again soon I expect as I have an outfit planned this weekend with them again. Anyway, I hope you like the 3D flowers as much as I do!
