Last week I wanted to do something fall/Thanksgiving-y for my nails. I fully intended to try to do plaid nails using fall colors (brown, orange, red, white) but when I sat down to do my nails I really did not have the patience to try to draw straight lines on my nails. If you didn’t know, drawing straight lines on your nails is no easy task! So at the last minute I changed my mind and painted my nails brown and then used the other colors to do a polka dot look.
The polished I used:
- (Brown) OPI – “That’s What Friends Are Thor”
- (White) OPI – “Alpine Snow”
- (Orange) Revlon – “Privilege”
- (Red) Sephora Formula X – Fiery
This polish actually held up really well. I had it on my nails for a week with hardly any chipping. It wasn’t until the last day that there was some wear at the tips and that’s because I knew I was removing the polish that night so I opened packages etc. without really caring. I removed the polish because I had my winter professional photoshoot yesterday and the brown was not going to go with my looks. Anyway, this was a long-winded way of me saying that that OPI polish I used as my base really held up and thoroughly impressed me!
Much simpler look than plaid nails for sure, but still fall inspired!
