Polka Dot Wrap Dress
This past winter, I saw a few retailers selling variations of green polka dot dresses. I saw a few I liked but not enough to buy, but I really wanted to find one that I did want because the idea of a green polka dot dress seemed so cute and a bit retro. Finally, I found this one from Red Dress Boutique and it looked perfect! Green (my fav color), white polka dots, a satin-y look and feel, and a wrap dress – perfection! So I ordered it and it is such good quality. The material is actually quite thick which is nice because I find some wrap dresses to…

Velvet Polka Dot Pants
Dress pants can get boring to wear to work. I mean, how many different variations can you wear? Plus, unless you work somewhere that allows you to dress casually or more freely, then you keep your pants pretty basic – not even straying too far in terms of color. So when you find pants that put a small twist on a classic, it’s a welcome change. These navy blue pants have an all-over black polka dot detail, which is cute in itself, but the polka dots are actually velvet! It’s such a good idea and a great way to update a classic look. Both the sweater and pants are from…

Mustard Waffle Knit Cardigan
Yesterday I shared a bright outfit that took a break from typical fall colors. Well today’s outfit is full-on fall. Last month I bought this waffle knit mustard yellow cardigan and this polka dot, lace trim cami. I bought them separately but when deciding what to wear underneath the cardigan, I thought this polka dot cami would be perfect underneath. Normally when I think of mustard I think of pairing it with browns and jeans. So the black and white polka dot cami was a bit of a departure, but I think it actually looks so good together! I wore the cardigan and cami with moto leggings in a dark…

Polka Dot Tie Blouse
I’ve been on a tie blouse kick lately. You might remember this pink and maroon one I just shared over the weekend. This white tie blouse with black polka dots was a Christmas gift and I love how crisp it looks with black pants. It was a little low cut for work so I wore a lace topped black cami underneath. Top: Forever 21 | Pants: LOFT | Shoes: Aldo I love the black & white polka dots. So classic and will never go out of style! Have a great Thursday – it’s almost the weekend!

Teal Dot Front Zip Blouse
I love to wear flowy blouses to work because they’re so comfortable and I’m not constantly pulling my top and shifting my clothes around. As you all know by now, if you’re a frequent reader of my blog, I love exposed zippers. I have a few tops that have front zipper details and what’s cute and different about this one is that it’s a ring zipper. It’s the little things! This green loose blouse has teal and purple dots all over that I think are so fun and a pretty color combo. Top: Apt. 9 via Kohl’s | Pants: Old Navy | Shoes: Aldo | Watch: Caravelle by Bulova The…

Fall Polka Dot Nails
Last week I wanted to do something fall/Thanksgiving-y for my nails. I fully intended to try to do plaid nails using fall colors (brown, orange, red, white) but when I sat down to do my nails I really did not have the patience to try to draw straight lines on my nails. If you didn’t know, drawing straight lines on your nails is no easy task! So at the last minute I changed my mind and painted my nails brown and then used the other colors to do a polka dot look. The polished I used: (Brown) OPI – “That’s What Friends Are Thor” (White) OPI – “Alpine Snow” (Orange)…

Polka Dot Baby Doll Top
Okay, I know I’ve been talking a lot about the weather lately – especially on Instagram – but I’m just really longing for fall weather! We’ve had mild falls before but I can’t quite remember the last time we were so far in to October and it still being consistently in the 80s. I want cool, crisp fall weather! In the meantime, I’m still wearing summer clothes the majority of the time like this polka dot babydoll top and cropped leggings. Top: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s This polka dot print on this babydoll top is so cute. I love that the dots…

So Dotty: Polka Dots
So Dotty: Polka Dots by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring mini party dresses When Polyvore had a polka dot challenge, I decided to style this black dress with neon polka dots. It looks like separates but it actually is connected by a clip in the middle. It’s very 80s inspired and reminds me of Saved by the Bell. Definitely something Kelly Kapowski would wear! But if this outfit was separates, I’d still choose it because I’ve been loving the look of matching separates lately. Definitely something I’d like to get in to myself next summer if the style is still in and readily available. For shoes I chose fuzzy sandals. These kinds…
