Velvet Polka Dot Pants

Dress pants can get boring to wear to work. I mean, how many different variations can you wear? Plus, unless you work somewhere that allows you to dress casually or more freely, then you keep your pants pretty basic – not even straying too far in terms of color. So when you find pants that put a small twist on a classic, it’s a welcome change.

These navy blue pants have an all-over black polka dot detail, which is cute in itself, but the polka dots are actually velvet! It’s such a good idea and a great way to update a classic look.

Both the sweater and pants are from LOFT. I wore this outfit with black kitten heels for these photos, but to work yesterday I wore this exact top and pants with black fringe loafers.

I think these pants are so fun! I love that the polka dots are velvet, because it not only gives a fun print but adds dimension and texture to the pants.

They’re my new favorite work pants for sure!
