Polka Dot Wrap Dress

This past winter, I saw a few retailers selling variations of green polka dot dresses. I saw a few I liked but not enough to buy, but I really wanted to find one that I did want because the idea of a green polka dot dress seemed so cute and a bit retro. Finally, I found this one from Red Dress Boutique and it looked perfect! Green (my fav color), white polka dots, a satin-y look and feel, and a wrap dress – perfection!

So I ordered it and it is such good quality. The material is actually quite thick which is nice because I find some wrap dresses to be pretty thin. Since I didn’t want to show off too much and wrap dresses usually don’t have a slip or lining underneath, I wore a lace trimmed slip underneath. Good thing I did because it was super windy the day Lauren and I met up for photos back at the end of March. Without a slip people would’ve seen everything!

I love how flowy and shiny this dress is. So classic with a hint of retro vibes to it. The lace trimmed slip underneath actually looked great with the dress. I loved pairing the dress with my new white and nude studded heels. They came just in time for this photoshoot! I can’t afford the famous Valentino studded pumps, but these are a good dupe and for a serious fraction of the price. And comfortable too!

As you can see from my photos it was pretty windy out, but it ended up kinda working for this dress!
