Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face

Who doesn’t love Chrissy Teigen? Well, I suppose some people don’t but I do. She’s witty, beautiful, stylish, and hilarious. Plus, she cooks all the time on her social media (and has cook books) and she’s half-Asian. Her mom is Thai and she often features her on her Instagram stories and they’re so cute together! So she’s pretty awesome in my book.

A few months ago Becca and Chrissy did a collaboration together to create the Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. I loved the images of the palette as soon as I saw them, but I didn’t feel I needed it. At least not right away. Fast forward a few months and I was doing a Sephora haul to stock up on some items and I decided to get it and I’m so glad I did!

The palette comes with two highlighters, a bronzer, and a blush. They all contain a little bit of shimmer but nothing too over the top. There’s really no risk of looking like a disco ball unless you’re piling the products on. So why do I love this palette? Well, if you know me or have been following me for long enough you’ll know that my typical makeup look veers towards a more natural look. I don’t really go for bold looks unless it’s a special occasion like a wedding and even then I’m not one to go super vibrant with my look – I’d just go a bit heavier with the products and smokier. Anyway, this palette of cheek products is great because the tiny bits of shimmer help give the beautiful glow, but the shades are still super wearable. And like I said, the shimmer is minimal so aside from a glow you’re not going to be glittering so it creates a glowy but low-key look.

In person my blush was a little more visible, but it’s hard to see in these photos with the sunlight lighting. But you can definitely see the healthy glow! This palette was definitely worth it for me. Do I think you absolutely need it? No, it’s not groundbreaking. But I enjoy it and I don’t think you’d be disappointed if you bought it.
