Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream

Clinique is one of my favorite brands and I’ve been using the Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream for the past few weeks. I wanted to tell you a little about it and my experience so far!

Here’s how Clinique describes it:

Perfect for wearing alone or under foundation and recommended for all skin types, the lightweight, oil-free cream moisturizes and protects with sunscreen, leaving the skin soft, fresh, and flawless.

So how do I like it? I do like it and it actually does what it says it will – color corrects  and is lightweight. If you’re looking for a natural finish, this is perfect. It’s super light weight and color corrects, but it’s not going to provide amazing coverage. It’s light coverage and could possibly be built up to medium, but you’d really have to layer it. I’ve been wearing it as a foundation and since my skin has been having constant mini break outs since November this has been both good and bad. Good because since it’s so lightweight it’s nice to allow my skin to breath a bit more. Bad because it doesn’t provide a lot of coverage for my pimples so I end up really layering up on the concealer.

All in all, I do like this CC cream and I think it looks really nice and natural on the skin. If my skin wasn’t acting up it would be absolutely perfect for me for every day use. Nonetheless, I’ve still been using it every day and just using extra concealer for my spots. If you want a natural finish, this is amazing. If you want a CC cream that has foundation comparable to a foundation then you need to try the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream which is a favorite of mine because it is so good! It provides amazing coverage not only for a CC cream but better than some foundations I’ve used.
