Initial Pendant
Remember back in the day when everyone wore nameplate necklaces? They were really big in middle and high school for me. Some people had simple gold ones, other people had ones that were bedazzled. I think mine had a diamond above the “i” in my name. Then, in recent years people started wearing dainty initial necklaces and last year big statement letters. In recent months, I’ve noticed a trend of wearing rectangle pendants with an initial on the pendant. I really like this style so when I had the opportunity to pick out a piece from a company, I immediately added the initial rectangular pendant to my cart.
Now, this post is going to be a little bit different than me just telling you about the jewelry piece, showing photos, offering the link or my code. To make a long story short, I was approached by a company to join their ambassador program, which included me getting a deep discount on whatever items I wanted and a code to give to my readers/social media followers. I’m not going to say what company it is because I’m not going to put them on blast on here, but if you want to know so that you don’t shop from them just message me privately and I would be more than happy to share my story with you. In any case, I won’t be sharing my code or the brand with you because I did not have a great experience with them and will not lie to you and say it was all great and you should definitely buy from them.
What I am going to do instead is still show you the photos I took because I do like the pendant (the actual chain is another story) and give you a few options of other, much more reliable retailers, who sell similar items.
I love the style so I found a few similar ones for you to check out if you want to get something like this for yourself, but from a much more reputable retailer!
This one is by Bracha and is available at Nordstrom. It looks like they don’t have all the letters available – my guess is some of the letters are sold out, but you can always check back if you don’t see your initial!
This one isn’t a rectangle, but circle initial pendants are really popular right now too. These Kate Spade ones from Macy’s are available in silver, gold, and rose gold.
This lock initial pendant from Baublebar is cute too.
This one from Amazon is fun!
There are a ton more out there that you can find at most retailers that sell jewelry. They all have various initial pendant styles so you are sure to find something that you like.
What are your thoughts on initial pendants?
