Distressed Star Sweater
Are you a fan of star prints? I am and coincidentally if you caught my ootd on my Instagram stories yesterday you saw that I was wearing a multicolor star print blouse which will be on the blog later in the week. This top, however, is not multicolor but white with black stars (solid and hollow) and distressing at the neck and hemline. A cool spin on a star print sweater if you will. I wore this out to dinner for my mom’s birthday at the beginning of the month. I styled my new lob with beach waves (still perfecting it and will share on here soon), wore black pants, black booties, and my black leather & chain wrap bracelet to complete the look.
Sweater: Vici | Pants: Gap | Bracelet: Victoria Emerson (here) | Boots: DSW
I didn’t intentionally make this a black & white look – it just happened by accident, but I think black & white is the way to go with this sweater. Despite the distressing on this sweater, it’s actually got nice weight to it and not thin at all. I’ve had distressed sweaters before that felt like I could tear right through them if I accidentally put my fingers in the wrong place. But this one is really good quality and actually feels like a sweater.
I can’t link to any of my exact items except for my bracelet, but I’ve got distressed star sweaters, similar black pants from Gap, and similar black booties (same brand, just an updated version) that you can click through below.
Side note, my bracelet is sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when it’s back in stock!
