Sephora VIB Holiday Sale Haul

When Sephora has their VIB Rouge/VIB/Beauty Insider sales I take advantage. Beauty products are so expensive so when I can get them on sale it’s a huge plus. When the Sephora sales roll around I like to restock on some items and sometimes (often) try out some new products too.

Since I am in the thick of moving, renovations, furniture buying etc. I kept my haul to 5 items. Sure, I could’ve skipped the sale, but where’s the fun in that?

I restocked on Caudalie Grape Water which I aways keep stocked. I bought the smaller size this time around. I also picked up another tube of my all-time favorite mascara, Diorshow Iconic Overcurl.

For new (to me) products I got the Charlotte Tilbury Genius Under Eye & Face Magic Setting Powder, the Sephora All is Bright Brush Set, and the Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne.

I’ve been using BareMinerals Well-Rested to set my under eye concealer for years, but I wanted to try something new so I got the Charlotte Tilbury one to try. I picked up the brush set because I’ve heard amazing things about Sephora brushes for years and this holiday brush set is a great chance for me to try out a few different ones. Lastly, my favorite perfume at the moment is the Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black, which isn’t available at Sephora anymore. The line is at Ulta and Kohl’s now, but since Sephora was having the sale and not them I decided to check out some other perfumes. I read that the Peony & Blush fragrance has similar notes to Nirvana Black so I wanted to give it a try. From just smelling it from the bottle it smells really good. More floral than Nirvana Black, which has a more musky scent, but still good. I’ll do a review once I really try it out and wear it.

I had wanted to grab some holiday beauty (aside from the brush set) but the Too Faced set I had my eye on is available at Ulta and not at Sephora so I think I’ll place an Ulta order sometime later this month. Anyway, I will report back on the new to me products…eventually!
