Zespri SunGold Kiwi

I’m a huge fruit lover and I try to eat fruit every day. I’ve never had a a SunGold Kiwi before so when I got sent 2 from Zespri to try, I was excited.

The SunGold Kiwi is a hybrid of a regular green kiwi and a gold fruit (according to my online search) and is not genetically modified or anything. The kiwis came with a little knife/spoon tool where you can cut the kiwi open and then scoop it out to eat, but I prefer slicing my kiwis.

The kiwi was really delicious! Sometimes I find regular green kiwis to have an acidic aftertaste, but the SunGold didn’t have that. They’re sweet, but not overly sweet if that makes sense.

I would definitely buy them myself!
