Cetaphil Purifying Mask

Now that I’m back to work after the holidays and back to wearing a mask all day long, my skin has been re-adjusting. I don’t mask as often as I probably should. It’s actually pretty rare that I a) have time b) remember to do it. The past few years when I do mask it’s a sheet mask, so I wanted to get a classic mask and one that was affordable. I found this Cetaphil PRO Dermacontrol Purifying Clay Mask.

Here’s how Cetaphil describes this clay mask:

“New, luxuriously creamy Cetaphil PRO Dermacontrol Purifying Clay Mask purifies and deep cleans pores to leave your oily and sensitive skin feeling ultra clean and refreshed. With two types of clay and fruit and vegetable extracts, the unique formula does not dry, ensuring skin isn’t left tight or dried out. The Bentonite clay absorbs oil and pore-clogging impurities, minimizing the appearance of pores, while Amazonian kaolin clay gently exfoliates to lift away dead skin cells and help improve skin tone and texture. Apple fruit extract helps maintain skin hydration, and cucumber seed extract is rich in oleic acid to help brighten skin tone. Designed with sensitive skin in mind, Cetaphil Purifying Clay Mask is fragrance free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, so it won’t irritate skin or clog pores.

I can say that it is creamy and easy to apply. It’s not like some masks that you really need to drag the product across your skin. I’ve only used it twice so far and I haven’t noticed it minimizing the appearance of pores, but I can say that after using it my skin feels baby soft. Not just after rinsing it off, but even the day after.

Overall, I’m really enjoying it and for a drugstore price it’s a really nice option! I need to try to remember to use it tonight!
