The last mascara I was using was a drugstore one that I felt meh about so I didn’t highlight it on here. But, the one I’m using now – the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara – is one I’m really enjoying.
Here’s how the brand describes it:
Caution Extreme Lash Mascara’s smooth, buildable, ultra-black formula creates dramatic but weightless lash looks that don’t smudge or flake. The 4DAmplifier™ brush combines two brushes in one to deliver volume, length, lift, and definition for extreme lash looks. It saturates lashes with product from root-to-tip for the most volume in a single stroke, and perfectly coats the bottom lashes without smudging onto the lower lash line. The tapered end reaches even the smallest lashes in the corners of the eyes.
So far I’m really liking it and it’s been a couple weeks so far. It separates and lengthens, but I do wish it volumized a little more. I haven’t noticed any smudging or flaking. The formula isn’t too wet, which is good for me because I hate wet mascaras. Wet mascaras really weighs down my lashes and gets them all spidery looking. I’m not sure if this one makes the list of my top mascaras, but I like it enough that I would consider repurchasing again in the future!
