Olive Tropical Print Midi Dress

Well it seems like it’s one thing after another lately. The day I wore and took photos of this olive tropical print midi dress I lost power for a few hours. I was in the middle of getting ready to meet a friend for dinner when the power went out. It was a rainy day so my place was so dark despite it not even being 6pm yet. Luckily by the time I got home that night my power was back.

Then yesterday afternoon there was a huge water main break in my town. Actually literally down the road from where I live so we’ve got a boil water advisory going and I can’t wash any of my dishes that are piled in my sink and my dishwasher is full. I had planned to run it yesterday. It’s always something! The notice actually said you could use the dishwasher, but I’m waiting (til hopefully today) since water pressure was iffy with the water main break. I’m hoping I can go back to using water regularly today.

Anyway, back to this midi dress. I love this olive green color and the tropical print. It’s a really comfortable midi dress and I love the thicker straps. It’s also got pockets! I wore the dress with sandals and kept it simple.

Dress: Sonoma Goods for Life via Kohl’s | Sandals: Steve Madden via DSW

This exact pattern for the dress isn’t currently available, but there are two plaid options which would be great to transition into fall or even to wear in fall with a cardigan.
