Songs Lines to Books: Afterglow

I always love the Reels I see on Instagram of people picking books that go with certain lines of songs. I was recently listening to Taylor Swift’s “Afterglow” from her Lover album and picked out books for the part that goes:

“Tell me that you’re still mine
Tell me that we’ll be just fine
Even when I lose my mind
I need to say
Tell me that it’s not my fault
Tell me that I’m all you want
Even when I break your heart”

For the line “tell me that you’re still mine” I chose One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

For the line “even when I lose my mind” I chose It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover.

For the line “tell me that it’s not my fault” I chose Crescent City House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas.

For the line “even when I break your heart” I chose Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover.
