Mosaic Class in Lisbon

One of the things I was most looking forward to was a mosaic class with Lisbon Mosaic Studio. We had a private class (since there were 8 of us taking the class and I think that’s the max amount of people per class lol) and Eileen, the owner of the studio, taught us how to make mosaic sardines. If you’re wondering why sardines – Portugal is famous for sardines!

For my first sardine, I decided to go with a light, pastel color combo and for my second sardine I went with more blues and chunky tiles of varying heights. For that second one I wanted to do something different, but also the smaller tiles I cut/used for the first one took me a while to cut, arrange, and glue down so by the time I got to my second sardine I wanted to go for bigger pieces that would take less time!

The class was so fun and I love how my sardines turned out!
