Holiday Outing in Union Square

A couple weekends ago I went into the city to go to a few places around Union Square. I recently got a beautiful Barnes & Nobles tote bag that has an illlustration of the Union Square location so I, of course, brought that along with me as my bag for the day. And, naturally, I went to the store as well.

After Barnes & Noble, we walked through the farmer’s market (I didn’t get a good photo of it because it was so crowded) and then walked to the Union Square Holiday Market to look around. I got a hot chocolate and bought 2 hand painted ornaments.

Then, we walked over to Basta Pasta where we had a lunch reservation. If we didn’t have reservations I would’ve eaten at one of the booths at the holiday market. I got the pasta that’s cooked in the parmesan wheel and it was delicious.

Our last stop before heading home was to Breads Bakery. Their cinnamon babka is amazing!

Have you ever been to the Union Square Holiday Market (or the Barnes & Noble in Union Square or Basta Pasta or Breads Bakery)?
