“It’s always I love you and never…” – A Promise of Peridot Edition

I’m still on that “It’s always I love you and never…” train and I cannot be stopped! This time I’m using a part from A Promise of Peridot by Kate Golden.

It’s always I love you and never…

(Him explaining he calls her “bird” because birds represent hope)

“That’s what birds represent. Stranded sailors look to the sky to be led by them back to dry land. Birds soar through the dawn each morning, as sure as the sun rising in the east – the promise of something new, regardless of what came before. Hope always has wings.”

When a nickname means more than just a cute endearment!
