Foxglove Quote

At the start of year I ordered this sweatshirt from Inkwell Threads that says “This machine fights fascists”. It seemed timely back then, but even more so now.

When I read Foxglove back in December, there was a quote that I tabbed. It isn’t about fascism, but it is about women.

“Too often the world did not consider women as people but as stepping stones for men. A woman was ostracized the moment she strayed from the prescribed path, left to fend for herself in a world with too few opportunities.”

I think that quote is so true and although it’s not about fascism per se it’s still about oppression and I had to pair it with my new sweatshirt.
