Book Review: Sinful Like Us
Sinful Like Us by Krista & Becca Ritchie is the 5th book in the Like Us series and the 2nd book following Jane Cobalt and Thatcher Moretti.

The novel picks up after the events of Tangled Like Us. Jane and Thatcher are officially a couple and not fake dating to keep the crazy people away after her grandmother put an ad out in the paper for suitors for her. Thatcher was able to keep his job as a bodyguard for the Cobalt/Hale/Meadows families, but he can’t be Jane’s bodyguard anymore. Her new bodyguard is an old nemesis of Thatcher’s which makes things more tense and complicated, but now Jane and Thatcher live together so there are some pluses.
When Moffy and Farrow as Jane to plan their wedding, she organizes a trip to the Scottish Highlands to check out possible wedding locations and invites the engaged couple, 2 of her brothers (Beckett and Charlie), her cousins Sulli and Luna, and their respective bodyguards. Not wanting to spend a week apart, Thatcher and his identical twin brother, Banks, decide to switch places. Only their family members on the trip and their close friends/security guards will know about the switch, but not the bodyguards who they’re not close with. They believe a week should be easy to keep up the charade and not get caught. However, a snow storm and extreme cold weather hits Scotland unlike anything that’s been seen in decades making their 1 week trip before Christmas last over a month. Tensions are high when so many people are stuck in a space together and everyone wants to go home especially during the holidays. But what makes it even worse? Thatcher has to continue to pretend to be Banks for weeks longer than planned so he and Jane aren’t free to be close to one another in front of everyone.
I really liked this book. I continue to love Jane and Thatcher, although at times Jane annoyed me in this book. She kept pulling away and stopping herself from giving into her relationship with Thatcher and it was tough/annoying to watch because he was so patient with her and so openly expressed his love for her. Overall, I liked the book and I’m looking forward to continuing the series.
