Kent Island Day 3

We’re up to the last day of my little Kent Island trip! My friend and I started the 3 hour drive back home around 11am on our last day of the trip, but really made the most of our morning. We got up early, went to Dessert First Dockside Coffee again for breakfast right when they opened at 8am. I got the Dirt Cup Mocha iced coffee this time and a pistachio chocolate chip loaf. Then we headed back to Terrapin Nature Park since it was our favorite spot the day before and laid out on the beach blanket reading and relaxing for about an hour and a half before we had to head back to the hotel to pack up and check out! It was a very relaxing morning and we loved going back to that spot one last time.

Special shout out to my friend for pumping my gas during our gas stop on the drive home. If you don’t already know, we’re from NJ which is the only state left in the US where we don’t pump our own gas. I have pumped my own gas before when on trips but only like maybe twice ever so I know how to do it but I prefer not to haha. My friend has lived in PA and SC in the past before coming back to NJ so I told her before we even left for the trip that she would have to do it.

Anyway, it was a very nice and relaxing 2 1/2 days in Kent Island, Maryland! We said we’ll have to do another girls’ trip next year. Now the question is whether we should do another road trip or if we should fly somewhere further?! We’ll see!
