Paddle Boating @ South Mountain Reservation
If you keep up on here regularly then you may recall my post about my dusty pink top with the sleeve cutouts. And you may remember my post about my meal at Roosterspin. So on that same day that I went to Roosterspin and I took the pictures of my cutout sleeve outfit I went out with my friend from the restaurant to South Mountain Reservation to walk around and we ended up going paddle boating. It was a beautiful, warm day out so I was slightly afraid I’d get weird tan lines from the cutouts in my top, but fortunately I did not. It was a nice outing and…

Anastasia on Broadway
I’m back to work today after a week off for spring break and I may or may not have been super down about it last night… In any case, I’m back today to talk about the Broadway musical – Anastasia! So Anastasia was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I was going to add it to my post I recently did about movies I loved, but I knew I was going to see the Broadway show so I thought I’d save my thoughts on the movie til now. I loved the movie when I was a kid and if you don’t know what it’s about I’ll give you…

Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem
Last weekend was Thanksgiving weekend which, if you read my post yesterday, then you know means I immediately switched into Christmas gear the day after Thanksgiving. So the Saturday after Thanksgiving I met up with my friend to see Fantastic Beasts (which I wrote about here) and then check out the Christmas Market or Christkindlmarkt (I won’t even try to pronounce that) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Pretty fitting town name for a Christmas market, right? A friend of mine had lived in Bethlehem for a year a while ago and had always told me that the town goes all out for Christmas and at the SteelStacks they do a Christmas market…

Harry Potter Festival
Last weekend I went to the Harry Potter Festival in Chestnut Hill – a neighborhood in Northwest Philadelphia. I thought since yesterday I shared my thoughts on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, I would share some photos of my day at the festival and tell you all about it. First off, I was so excited to wear my Harry Potter themed tank top I ordered from Etsy. I didn’t go in costume, but I did want to wear something Potter related. Cardigan: LOFT | Tank Top: Painted Arrow Designs via Etsy | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Keds via DSW I wore my Gryffindor scarf and this super cute tank top.…

YouTube: An Evening at the State Fair
This post has been a long time coming since I went to the State Fair back in June! But better late than never, right? Back at the end of June, the annual state fair took place at the Meadowlands. For those unfamiliar with the area, the Meadowlands is the name of the area which includes MetLife Stadium or what used to be Giants Stadium (where the NY Giants and NY Jets play). Also, if you’re not familiar with the area – yes these are “New York” teams but the stadium these teams play at are in my home state of New Jersey. I’d never been to the state fair and…

Longwood Gardens
Hi all, as you may have read yesterday, I’m back from Alaska but have loads more to share with you all from my trip traveling around “The Last Frontier” for 12 days. However, as I get myself organized and rested up from traveling I thought I would share my YouTube video from my day trip last month to Longwood Gardens as opposed to a travel post. I’ve also come home very tired and to very sad personal news. I questioned whether I should write my post today at all, but keeping busy is best and blogging brings me joy which I could use right about now. So for today’s post, I’m…

Chelsea Market, The Highline, & More
If you follow me on social media, you may have caught my Instagram and/or twitter post about how I saw Jimmy Fallon getting off a helicopter and into a waiting SUV with his family. It was a Sunday afternoon so I imagine he was returning to the city for the work week. It would’ve been so cool to actually meet him but everything happened really quickly plus you couldn’t hear a thing with the helicopter so loud. Anyway, that day I went into the city with two friends to go to Chelsea Market, The Highline, and just walk around. Chelsea Market is an indoor market with tons of little shops and…

An Afternoon in Asbury Park
Last weekend I spent the afternoon in Asbury Park with one of my oldest friends. Our original plan was to go to a food truck festival at a winery, but it had been raining non-stop all week and the forecast was for rain over the weekend as well. So keeping in mind that we weren’t sure whether the festival would be canceled or if it wasn’t it would be packed with people that couldn’t go the previous days, we decided to do another outing instead. Follow my afternoon by clicking below! For more details, keep reading. My friend and I headed down to this shore town, walked around, ate lunch,…

YouTube: NYC, Wicked, & Food
I’m back with another YouTube video! Last week, I wrote about seeing Wicked on Broadway, which I absolutely loved. The day was great with beautiful weather, an awesome Broadway show, and good food. The places we chose to eat are quite popular so we had to wait in lines just to get in to the places, but they were definitely worth it. My friend and I started the day off on the train into the city. The train was pretty crowded for a Saturday morning so we had to stand for the whole ride, but I’ve had to do that many times on the train before so it’s nothing new.…

Snowed In
Snowed in. Literally. My area was hit with a blizzard over the weekend and at the time that I’m writing this (11PM on Sunday night) my street has still not been plowed yet! So although my driveway is cleared, I am literally trapped. The snow began Friday night and steadily and at times heavily continued until late Saturday night. In 24 hours, we got over 30 inches (taking snow drifts into account). The wind was crazy at times hence the snow drifts. I’m not exaggerating when I say that whenever I opened my front door to take a look at the snow I would get hit in the face with…
