InStyler Max Rotating Iron
The last time I wrote about a hair tool (I think) was over a year ago when I talked about my love for the BeachWaver. Scratch that, I just remembered I wrote about the Sleep Styler rollers since then, but I didn’t really love those. Fortunately, I do love the tool I’m talking about today – the InStyler Max Rotating Iron! This tool is pretty easy to use and gives the most amazing curled under looks that seriously look like you got a blow out at the salon. I got the 1 1/4 inch barrel in purple. On one side is the round barrel and the other side is a plate…

Review: The Sleep Styler
A few months ago I got suckered in to watching online ads for The Sleep Styler. I enjoy curling my hair every once in a while with a traditional iron or my beloved BeachWaver, but I don’t have time in the morning before work to curl my hair. So I thought The Sleep Styler might be a good idea so that I could sleep with the soft curlers in and wake up to great hair! Although I got the set in the summer I’ve only used it a few times. The students don’t come back until next week, but still summer is officially over. If you’ve been following me regularly then you may remember me gushing about the Beachwaver hair tool back a few months ago. I filmed a short video to show how easy it is to use and get those beachy waves! Of course, you can do regular tighter curls or more vintage-y looking curls with the tool too – all…

Beachwaver
I wouldn’t call myself an expert in…anything really, but one thing I am definitely not an expert in is hairstyling. Hair styling for me is usually pretty standard and basic because I’m just not very good at it. My attempts at more complicated hairstyles and fancy looking braids usually end with me frustrated, hot/sweaty, and aching arms. French braids are about as much as I can handle in the braid department. Curling my hair is another story. I can curl my hair with an iron (I haven’t tried rollers since I was a kid but would like to try hot rollers sometime in the future) but it will take me a while…
