White & Gold Glitter Nails
Quick manicure post for you guys this evening. I did a gold and white look on my nails as it looked very fittingly wintery. Plus the combination of gold and white makes me think of new beginnings and as we’re still in January of the new year (albeit the end of January) it seemed like as good a time as any. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I am no expert at nail art. Despite this, I still try with the hopes that practice makes perfect. Sparkling Grey Nails
You know what’s worse than a Monday? A Monday after a long weekend. I had a great 4-day weekend and definitely wish it wasn’t over so soon. Hopefully you all had a good weekend, long or regular, too! If you’ve been following me for a while you know I like to try to do simple nail art on my nails myself. “Try” being the operative word. I was pretty lazy with my nails all summer but towards the end of August I was inspired to try something new. And that something new was a super easy style with simple dots along the tips. Rediscovered: Crackle Nails
A few weeks ago, I was going through my nail polish and decided to use my Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat because I hadn’t used it in ages. I’m not even sure if it’s still available to buy, but it creates a cool effect on the nails. First, you paint your nails with another polish. Once that dries, you put the Crackle Overcoat on. It’s pretty cool to watch because as you paint it on you can see it cracking and shrinking to form this cracked design on your nails.
