The other night I did my nails as my way of decompressing and relaxing for the night. I decided I wanted to play around with my nail striping tape some more. Originally, I wanted to do a double v with the tape, but I was getting frustrated with trying to place the tape in the v-shape and getting the tape angled correctly. Snowman Winter Nails
This post ended up being perfectly timed. I painted my nails a few nights ago and I was thinking that when I posted the pictures on here I would write about how much I wanted a snow day especially since other than a few dustings and an inch here and there we hadn’t had any real snow this year. Christmas Nails: Stripes & Confetti
It’s my first day of my holiday break and, of course, I’m sick with a cold! I woke up yesterday all congested and was able to get through the work day with some sniffles but otherwise surviving. Leaf Nail Design
For a while I had plans to share a fall nail look on the blog. I found a leaf design in my nail stamping kit that looked cute and so that was my plan. Well, that did not work out as planned. Halloween is just a few days away so I wanted to try to do a festive nail look. Naturally, I went to Pinterest to see what easy nail styles I could find. “Easy” being the key word. Nail Stamping: Geometric T’s & Crosses
You may have seen a glimpse of my nails in yesterday’s Rocksbox post so I’m here today to give you some more details on it! Over the weekend, I painted my nails with Essie’s Sunday Funday polish a bright coral color. I wanted to break out my nail stamping plates again and try out another pattern. In recent months I have started to see blog and Instagram posts about nail stamping plates and was incredibly intrigued once I saw my blog buddy Karen from Confetti & Curves share a tutorial . Reverse Accent Nails
Normally an accent nail in a manicure involves one nail that has a design, glitter, a gem, or something that makes it a little more fancy than the other nails. Well, for this nail look I decided to do the reverse. I used a glitter polish on all my nails except my ring fingers. First, I painted all my nails, except my ring fingers, with Essie’s “All Access Pass” and then topped it off with Sally Hansen’s “Grape Shifter”.
