    September 2019 Favorites

I don’t know why but I keep thinking that October is a week away and then I’m thrown off every time I realize it’s a lot sooner than that. Like as in tomorrow. September has been really busy, but I’ve still got some favorites to share with you. First up is my new Coach wallet. My wallet before this one was a Vera Bradley one in a pink floral print and it lasted me a few years but it was getting real rough looking so I was due for a new wallet. I got this one for my birthday and I don’t see this exact one on the website anymore, but…

    Recent Netflix Binge Shows

In the past 1-2 months I have put a decent dent in my Netflix list of things to watch. Since I’m always so curious to know what other people are watching on Netflix, I thought I’d write up a quick post of what I have watching/what I’ve been watching since late July. First, Supernatural. I have watched Supernatural since the beginning and this fall the final season (season 15!) begins. Although I have been a big fan since it started 15 seasons ago I did fall behind 2 seasons ago. What had happened was I had episodes saved on my DVR to catch up on and lost the episodes and then…

    I Finally Saw Coco

If you know me, you know I love movies and tv. I pride myself in being well versed in a variety of genres. When I was looking at this article about the 50 Best Movies on Netflix Right Now I had seen a good handful of them, but there were a few I hadn’t seen. One being Coco. The Disney movie Coco came out 2 years ago and I just watched it for the first time last night. I know – super late to the game. I love Disney movies and pretty much everything Disney. So why did I wait so long to watch this well-loved movie? To be honest, I was…

    January 2018 Favorites

Can you believe it’s already January 31st? The first month of 2018 is over and there are a few things I loved this month. My first favorite is a rediscovered product. My NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Powder  in “Pink Cheek Glow”. I’ve had this for a long time, but recently pulled it back out and remembered how much I love it! After the new year, I got the iPhone 8 and Verizon included a Morphie charging base with my new phone and I love it! I just have to lay my phone on it for it to charge and what’s great about it is that it will only charge your phone…

    What I’m Watching

If you know me, you know I watch my fair share of TV. I DVR more shows that I can count as well as watch shows on Netflix and the like. I thought I’d share a few shows I’m currently watching a lot of that I haven’t really talked about on here yet. Peaky Blinders – I’m obsessed with this British gangster drama. I know I’m late to the party, but I just started watching it earlier this winter. There are only 3 seasons out and I’m a few episodes short of finishing the available episodes but I’ve put off finishing it because I heard the next season won’t be…

    The Crown

Have you watched Netflix’s original series, The Crown? It premiered on Netflix last month and I just finished watching it a few weeks ago and I loved it! This series really kept me interested for various reasons. I love history and although this show is just inspired by true events (who knows what the conversations really were or what really happened behind closed doors) it is an interesting look into history and the royal family which is another fascination of mine. The show follows a young Queen Elizabeth navigating life, politics, marriage, motherhood, and the world of royalty. The show begins with her still being a princess as her father, King George,…

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life – My Thoughts

By now if you were interested in watching Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life there’s a good chance you’ve already watched all 4 parts. I know most people binge-watched it over the weekend or in the middle of the night when it was released by Netflix. I watched one episode a day over the last 4 days. This was due to a lack of a sufficient chunk of time to sit through more than 1 episode at a time and also because part of me wanted to be able to stretch out the show and savor it. This is a character trait of mine in many facets of my life…

    Daredevil Season 2

Daredevil season 2 has been out on Netflix for a week already so that’s given you plenty of time to binge watch the season. Today I bring you my thoughts on the sophomore season of the hit Netflix show following Matt Murdock as the brooding vigilante. Season 1 ended with villain Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin going to jail and season 2 introduces new characters Frank Castle aka The Punisher and Elektra. What’s different about these two characters is that unlike Fisk they are not clearly “bad”. They are essentially good people, who do bad things for what they feel is justice. Whereas, Fisk is just downright evil. They do their…

    Fuller House – My take

Unless you’ve been living under a rock and/or avoiding all social media (in which case you probably wouldn’t find yourself here, thanks for stopping by!) you will have heard that last Friday Netflix released Season 1 of Fuller House. The new show that picks up with the Full House kids 20 or so years later has been much anticipated for months. Of course, I’ve watched the 13-episode season so I’m here to give you all my thoughts on the show. I’ve got a lot to cover so settle in and let’s get started! As I watched the episodes and read some feedback online from Facebook friends and just from the general public, I jotted…

    August & September Netflix Binges

In the past two months, I did some serious Netflix binging. Since I loved these shows enough to binge watch, I thought I’d take a minute to round them up! Gilmore Girls Since Netflix added Gilmore Girls to their list of shows, people have been going crazy trying to rewatch their favorite mother/daughter duo. Back when it was actually on TV, I would only watch it here and there. Enough that I always knew the gist of what was going on, but I never watched it religiously so I’ve started to watch it from the beginning. I’m almost done with Season 2 of the show, which isn’t too impressive in my…
