September 2019 Favorites
I don’t know why but I keep thinking that October is a week away and then I’m thrown off every time I realize it’s a lot sooner than that. Like as in tomorrow. September has been really busy, but I’ve still got some favorites to share with you.
First up is my new Coach wallet. My wallet before this one was a Vera Bradley one in a pink floral print and it lasted me a few years but it was getting real rough looking so I was due for a new wallet. I got this one for my birthday and I don’t see this exact one on the website anymore, but I did find one that I think is the newer version of this one. My tri-fold wallet has the curved flap and has the zipper portion inside for coins. The new one’s flap cuts straight across and I believe the zipper part is on the outside back of the wallet.
My next two favorites are shoe favorites. I’ve spoken about both of these shoes at length on my Instagram Stories. First are my new black flats from Clarks . They are insanely comfortable and I’ve been trying not to wear them all the time to work so I don’t wear them out before the school year is over!
My other shoe love this month are the peep toe sock booties I got from the Nordstrom sale. They’re actually the only thing I got from the N-Sale. They are so comfortable and I just love the look of them! I’ve worn them with dresses so far but I think they would look really good with cropped jeans as well. The heels are bit higher than I usually wear on a regular basis, but the boots are so good! You’ll see them in a few outfit posts coming up.
Next, I have 2 snack favorites to share. I’ve been trying to bring healthy snacks to work to eat during my breaks. I typically bring a snack, my lunch, and some fruit to work each day. One snack I’ve been loving lately is the Off the Eaten Path Veggie Crisps. They are chips made from black beans, peas, and rice. They have a hint of salt in them too which makes them even tastier.
My other snack favorite lately is Nature’s Garden Omega-3 Deluxe Mix I actually use this mix in my salads sometimes too. It’s got a mix of different nuts, seeds, and cranberries.
Both snacks are so tasty and tie me over until my next meal.
My last favorite for September is the Netflix mini-series Unbelievable. It’s based on a real story about a teenage girl who is a foster kid that gets raped and people don’t believe her. Her story gets dismissed until a few years later two woman detectives in another state come across a series of rapes with very specific MOs. The series follows how these detectives solve the case and figure out who the serial rapist is.
Those are all my favorites for the month! What are some things you loved this month?
