    Travel Inspo: Staircases

My travel board on Pinterest is always getting added to every time I log on. I can’t help it – the travel photos are always so gorgeous. I’ve realized that a majority of my pins on my travel board are of Switzerland so I definitely need to go there one day. But, I apparently also have a thing for staircases. Who can blame me, so many of them are so beautiful. So with that being said, I’ve rounded up 5 staircases from around the world for some travel inspiration! This first staircase is of caldera steps in Santorini, Greece. How fun and pretty do these stairs look with the stones…

    Chili Mac & Cheese

Happy Saturday! I’ve said it multiple times this season and I’m going to say it again – this weather is crazy. It was spring like weather just a week ago and then yesterday it was snowy and the weather forecast for this Tuesday is a potential major snow storm. Part of me would love a snow storm since I’d been wanting more snow this winter. The other part of me is done with winter and ready for a change. Today I’m sharing another meal I made via Pinterest. ThisΒ one-pot chili mac & cheese is something I made a while ago but am just getting around to posting now. I used…

    Chili Pasta Bake

Thanksgiving is just a few days away now! Before we start to see tons of Thanksgiving food posts, I have another “regular” food post to share. Recently, I made a Chili Pasta Bake that I found on Pinterest. It brought me to the recipe – here. The recipe was easy to follow and I really stuck to it for this meal. The only thing I didn’t do was put sour cream and green onions on top for serving because I’m not a huge sour cream fan. This recipe uses shells and actually now that I think about it I did use more pasta than the recipe calls for. The recipe…

    Cranberry Pecan Tea Cookies

A few days ago I wrote about what I wore to Back to School NightΒ . Today, I’m back to share with you some cookies I made for it. For pretty much all the things we, the staff, need to stay late at school for (Back to School Night, parent/teacher conferences) we do a potluck, because having to stay at work for hours longer than usual is made a tiny bit better if there’s food involved obviously. I always bring some sort of dessert like a cake or cookies, because I don’t want to have to deal with fridge space in the teachers’ lounge and I also don’t want to have…

    Pistachio Cake

Every once in a while I’ll browse on Pinterest for some food, fashion, or craft ideas. Or to look longingly at the many jaw droppingly beautiful travel photos all over the site. I’m not one of those people who are on Pinterest daily though, I just never caught that bug. Today I bring to you my try at a recipe I found through the site and it was not a Pinterest fail at all, but a complete success! I made a pistachio cake and it came out looking pretty good and tasting pretty good too. I got the recipe hereΒ and it was super simple. The recipe calls for yellow cake…
