    September 2019 Favorites

I don’t know why but I keep thinking that October is a week away and then I’m thrown off every time I realize it’s a lot sooner than that. Like as in tomorrow. September has been really busy, but I’ve still got some favorites to share with you. First up is my new Coach wallet. My wallet before this one was a Vera Bradley one in a pink floral print and it lasted me a few years but it was getting real rough looking so I was due for a new wallet. I got this one for my birthday and I don’t see this exact one on the website anymore, but…

    Okabashi Sandals

When the weather warms up, and I’m not at work, you’ll find me 95% of the time in flip flops or some sort of sandal. Okabashi sandals are new to me and who am I to pass up a pair of sandals?! Okabashi was kind enough to let me pick out a pair of my choosing and I chose the “Marina” sandal in the color Slate/Sea Glass. I love the grey and sea glass combo and they’re really comfortable! Flip Flops: Okabashi (here) | Top: Macy’s | Jeans: Vici This sea glass color is so pretty for summer. It’s definitely a color I gravitate towards and so it will be so easy…

    Sorel Kinetic Waterproof Boots

Happy Friday! Yesterday was a long day at work. I had parent/teacher conferences from 8am-6pm so it was pretty tiring. I’m hoping today goes by seamlessly and I can just get home to relax (aka do laundry and make dinner). Considering that this past Monday was a snow day, you’d think this week would feel short, but it felt so long! This week has also been really cold. Probably the coldest it’s been in a few weeks with real feel temps in the teens. The cold weather coupled with the snow storm earlier in the week made me want to dedicate a whole post to my Sorel Kinetic Waterproof Boots.…

    October 2018 Favorites

Happy Halloween! I can’t believe it’s already Halloween, the end of October, and that the holiday season is officially upon us. It’s crazy how fast this year has gone. Since it’s the end of October I’ve rounded up some things I loved this month as I do every month. First up, is the coffee table book I got – Florists to the Field . It’s so pretty and I love flipping through and looking at the gorgeous photos! The next few favorites are things I’ve been loving to wear/use. My black joggers with white stripes down the side are so soft and comfy! I love them. My favorite shoe this fall has…

    Sheer Detailed Kimono

I survived my first “real” day back at work yesterday! I have real in quotes because technically I’ve been back at work for 2 weeks already, but yesterday was the first day with students. The day went pretty smoothly, but my throat is sore from getting used to talking all day long and loudly again. Happens to me every year! Since I’m exhausted from work – still have to get used to waking up at 5:30 again – this post will be short. Two weekends ago I met up with my friend for brunch at Division Cafe in downtown Somerville. I wore this sheer kimono with flower detailing that I…

    August 2018 Favorites

Can you believe it’s already September? I can’t! Even yesterday when it was the last day of August, it didn’t really hit me that it was the end of August. I have just a few favorites to share this month. I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but I think when you’re busy you just have less time to think about what you’re really loving lately. First up, if you follow my blog and/or my social media accounts regularly then you know I spent the first half of August in Japan and Hong Kong. While in Japan we had pretty great weather, despite sweating to death in…

    July 2018 Favorites

When this post goes live I should be sitting at the airport waiting to board my flight for vacation! My posts the next few days have already been written and scheduled, but as long as my hotel internet is working I should have my first travel post up this weekend! I’ll be gone for about 2 weeks, so look out for exciting travel posts! The month of July was super busy with family visiting, moving, short trips to Baltimore and historical Philadelphia, and seeing Taylor Swift in concert. With being so busy I don’t have a lot of favorites to share so this post will be short! The first favorite…

    May 2018 Favorites

Can you believe that tomorrow is already June? It’s crazy to think that we’re already so far in to 2018 and that in a few weeks I’ll be on summer break. To wrap up the month of May, I have a few favorites to share with you. I only have a few favorites so this will be quick. First, I’ve been loving this Orange Marmalade with Champagne with toast for breakfast in the morning. It’s so yummy and not too sweet! Another food favorite of mine this month is the walnut danish from my local bakery. It’s such a good baked good snack especially with an afternoon cup of coffee. My next…

    Statement Shoes

Statement Shoes by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring wide width sandals   Are you a statement shoe kind of person? I want to be, but whenever I shoe shop I end up going for the practical or cute shoes that can be versatile and worn in various settings. Which is natural, but sometimes I wish I could wear one of these fun, beautiful, bold shoes out and about! Though I think I’d look a little out of place walking around the suburbs, but maybe for a night out or a fancy event! For this style challenge I chose these fun green heels with feathers and a gold heel. These Prada statement heels carry a…

    Gold Metallic Loafers

Back in the fall I was on a shoe-buying kick. I had thrown out/donated/sold a few pairs and wanted to invest in a few new pairs. You’ve already seen some of the boots I got in various posts on here in the past few weeks, but today I’m sharing these gold metallic loafers. I think they are so chic and can be worn for a casual or more dressed up look. When I saw them on the DSW website, I loved the look of them, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get them. They were on sale and I loved the look, but there were a few reviews…
