Dermaplaning at Home
Have you heard of dermaplaning? Do you dermaplane? I first heard of it a year or so ago. It’s essentially shaving your face, which I know, sounds weird, but hear me out. I’ve never gotten my face professionally dermaplaned, but a lot of people do it at home. You use a small razor that is specifically made for this and it removes dead skin and little hairs from your face leaving your face nice and smooth. People always rave about it so after a year of people talking online about how they dermaplane at home, I decided to try it myself. I got a 3-pack of Schick dermaplaning razors from…

Here’s How my Skin Turned Out After Using Kedma’s Day Cream
Sponsored Guest Post Saying that I have dry skin is an understatement. My skin is extremely dry and I have been suffering from it for a long time now. I have used numerous products to no avail, which makes me really sad and frustrated when it comes to skincare products here in the Philippines. Having extremely dry skin can take a huge toll on my confidence, and it can even sometimes affect my social life. There are days where I cannot even muster up the courage to go out with my friends due to my dry skin. I am ashamed of it, and they might not even notice, but for…

Peter Thomas Roth – Peptide 21 Collection
Happy Wednesday! For a split second yesterday morning I thought it was Wednesday, so that was a bit of a let down but it’s Wednesday for real today! I’m hoping the work day goes by smoothly and then I’ve got plans to hang out with the bff after work. On to the topic for today’s post. You guys know I love trying out new skincare so I was excited when I got a package from Peter Thomas Roth and Influenster a few weeks ago. I was sent the new Peptide 21 Collection which includes the Amino Acid Exfoliating Peel Pads, the Wrinkle Resist Serum, and the Lift & Firm Moisturizer.…

Keeping Skin Looking Radiant Throughout Winter
As the winter chill bites your skin, it actually sucks the moisture out of your skin cells. It’s a strange thing for most people because you would think that a hot sun of summer would do that. True, summer does mean you need to moisturize your skin more frequently but winter is probably just as prominent in this category. The thing is, there’s no humidity in the air during winter. This means that any natural oils on skin slowly begin to evaporate because there’s simply no equilibrium. The fact that there is water in the air means that your oils are not being sucked off your skin. The exact opposite…

AEnon’s Rose Purifying Face Mask
Back in July, I received two packets of AEnon’s Rose Purifying Face Mask in my Aster Market Box. I finally got around to trying out the mask so I wanted to share my thoughts with you. The directions say to pour the powder in a bowl and mix in 1 teaspoon of water until it forms a paste. Easy enough. When you’re done mixing it doesn’t look like there’s much of anything in the bowl, but trust me it is more than enough to cover your face as it is thicker than it looks and is easy to spread. The mask has a light pink shade to it, which I like…

Gentle Facial Scrubs
I don’t know about you, but this winter was rough on my skin. My skin was a lot drier than usual. On top of that, I think my skin has changed in general. Gone (at least for now) is an oily t-zone which I had for pretty much all my teens and most of my 20s and now I’m plagued with dry skin. My skin is also sensitive to certain products – some are just too harsh for my skin. Keeping all this in mind, I’ve been using and alternating between two different drugstore facial scrubs that have been gentle enough for me. I’ve been using Clean & Clear’s Blackhead Eraser…
