Convincing You to Read These Books Based on the First Line Part 2
I always love when a book’s first line is something crazy or something just really memorable. I did a post with first lines of books last June and decided another roundup was in order!
I picked out 6 books and hope their first lines will convince you to read them.

- Cupid’s Peak – “If you don’t get someone to rail you within an inch of your life soon, I’m kicking you out.”
- My Lucky Charm – “I’ve never kissed a stranger in my life.”
- The Way I Hate Him – (review coming tomorrow!) “How good are you at giving head?”
- Practice Makes Perfect – “I am convinced dating was created by an evil villain to torture humanity.”
- Butcher & Blackbird – “Being a serial killer who kills serial killers is a great hobby…until you find yourself locked in a cage.”
- Six Scorched Roses – “The first time I met death, it was in my first breaths – or rather, the first breaths I didn’t take.”
Here’s to more memorable first lines in books!
