Photo Challenge: Vivid
The latest photo challenge from The Daily Post was “Vivid” inspired by the VIVID Festival of Sydney, Australia that just concluded. When I saw the picture that was shared of the technicolor light show on the sails of the Sydney Opera House, the first thought that came to mind was a light show I went to when visiting family in Toronto, Canada years ago. I went through old folders of pictures and finally found the pictures. A lot of them were slightly blurry, apparently 9 years ago I didn’t care enough to really take my time with my photos! I’m pretty sure I walked around with my point and shoot digital camera and just snapped everything without much thought. This photo is probably the best one I have to share.
I don’t remember where exactly this picture was taken. I don’t remember if it was a garden or a park that was having a special exhibition, but I do know it was a special light show featuring Chinese decorations like a light-up miniature Great Wall of China and this gate below.
The entire place was alive with vibrant colors and array of neons. I do wish I had better photos to look back on!

Beautiful color and I just about said the same thing on my blog today about not being so careful when taking pictures in the past. Most of my posts are older pictures; some newer. I’m basically new to this and just have to remember to center or do the thirds shot for framing.~Julia
