Henley Blouse
My favorite clothing items are ones that are versatile and can be dressed up or down. For example a sweater that I can easily wear to work and out after work or even casually on the weekend. This henley blouse is the perfect example of such a piece. While, I probably wouldn’t wear this particular top to work because of the substantial amount of sheer lace on top, I could wear it with dark skinnies and heels with some accessories for a night out or like I’ve worn it here with sandals and denim shorts for a day out shopping at the outlets.
Blouse: Express
Tank Top: LOFT
Shorts: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohls
Sandals: New York & Company
Purse: Coach
This particular day was overcast, on/off drizzling and cool so pairing this light weight blouse with the denim shorts was perfect for me. The lace at the top reaches all the way to the back so it is not just a lace-front top and is a nice detail to add to differentiate it from the normal henley. By the way, I love henleys –they have such a cool, casual air to them but, like this top, can be so versatile. This particular top is definitely dressier than say a thermal henley, but I think henleys in general are pretty versatile pieces!
P.S. It’s Father’s Day here in the States (not sure if it is anywhere else in the world) so Happy Father’s Day to any of you readers celebrating today! I will be sharing my look from Father’s Day dinner tomorrow!
