“Oh Deer”

You may be wondering why the title of my post is “Oh Deer”. Well, there are two reasons. 1) This look I’m sharing today features leggings with a deer print. 2) I couldn’t think of a better title. So, there you go.

A lot of times when I think of what I want to wear, I picture it in my mind – even down to the accessories. Sometimes I change my mind at the last minute on certain pieces to the outfit, but for the most part I stick to what I had in mind. This look is one of those times where I put it together piece by piece in my head and imagined it working together really well.

I wore this mint green tape-yarn crewneck sweater from LC Lauren Conrad with silvery/sheer stripes and a tie in the back. There are glittery threads in the stripes which I always love. This exact color is not available anymore, but I did link to the colors remaining. It’s on sale now for $19.99!

The leggings are part of the LC Lauren Conrad Disney’s Bambi Collection. Why there is a Bambi collection out right now is beyond me, but I thought these leggings were super cute. This particular color for the leggings is also unavailable now, but I’ve linked to the colors remaining. They’re also on sale for $12!

The crocheted boot cuffs were part of my December Aster Market Box. I thought they would look great with the color palette of my look and with these chocolate brown UGGs. For the rest of my accessories I’m wearing my Stella & Dot triangle pave ring gifted to me by my bestie and my glittering Caravelle by Bulova watch that I got for Christmas. It’s also on sale at Macy’s right now. This is just a look full of sale items!

There are so many different parts to this look but I love the way it all came together. The colors just work together. The mint green, grey/taupe in the leggings, the richness in the boot cuffs and boots themselves, and a sprinkling of sparkle from my watch and ring just work. It’s an instance when all the pieces I imagined styling together really did work out perfectly in combination with one another, in my opinion.
