Collared! Statement Necklaces

When Polyvore had a statement necklace style challenge, I decided to create a look around this beautiful peridot and apatite necklace. With the light green stones (my birthstone) and the two shades of blue in the apatite gems I thought a white dress would do the necklace the most justice. This off-the-shoulder dress is the perfect summer to fall transition piece because you can easily pair this dress with a cardigan or denim jacket. The bamboo clutch and the leather espadrille wedges are the perfect color and materials for a fall look.

I think the white dress allows the statement necklace to be the real star of the show, but honestly I don’t know what item from this look is my favorite!
